♥Frequently Asked Questions♥

Q: Do I need an appointment to look at wedding gowns or bridesmaid dresses?

A: While we do welcome walk-ins at anytime, in order to receive the best service and full attention of our consultants we recommend scheduling an appointment.

Q: What should I bring to my appointment?

A: You can bring pictures of dresses you have seen on our website, in magazines, on social media, or that you’ve tried on elsewhere. We also suggest that you bring nude or white undergarments and shoes at the desired height you wish to have at your wedding. Above all, be sure to bring an open mind as our consultants may surprise you with a style you were not even expecting to look so good!

Q: What if my wedding is less than 4 months away?

A: We do have a large selection of dresses in stock. We will do our best to find on that makes your dream come true.  Some designers may have the dress you want in stock. We'll be happy to call and see if we can get the dress of your dreams.

Q: Do you provide in house alteration services?

A: We offer full alterations services in house.  Please check our services page for more information.

Q: How many people can I bring with me?

A: You are encouraged to bring someone close with you to enjoy your wedding gown shopping experience. We are a boutique; therefore we do not recommend bringing large parties. We want you and all brides to have an enjoyable experience. Having too many people at once detracts from that; too many opinions can confuse and overwhelm you.

Q: What is your payment policy?

A: We require half down to place orders. The second part of the payment can be paid when the gown arrives at the store or in multiple payments. For alterations we require half down to begin working on the gown and the other half before the gown is taken home from the store.

Q: How long does it take for my gown to arrive once its ordered?

A: Delivery times depend on the designer and the current stock on hand. We will always be happy to check and provide you with an estimated shipping date.

Q: Are alterations included in the price of the dresses?

A: Alterations are not included in the price of the dress. However since we do our alterations in house, we can provide you with the best service at the best price.

Q: Do I need to be measured if i know my size?

A: Yes. Sizing for bridal attire tends to run differently than street clothes. Most women need to go up a few sizes to accommodate the smaller sizing. We will take your measurements here in the boutique and determine the perfect size. Alterations can be made if necessary to ensure your dress fits perfectly. Please keep in mind that dresses can always be taken in, but not always let out. So it is important to trust our recommendations, as we are aware of how our collection varies.

Q: Do you carry bridesmaid dresses?

A: We carry a wide range of bridesmaid dresses from major designers, please see our complete list on the Designers page.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Bridal gowns are frequently special ordered and many are not manufactured until they are ordered.  We will work with you to make sure you have the right gown, the right look and the right accessories for your special day. However all sales are final.

Q: Do you sell dresses off the rack?

A: We do have some dresses that are available for purchase off the rack.  Our sister location Amare Bridal by Mayfair is fully stocked with ready to wear bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dresses.
